Dancing courses

You would like to attend the Winterball, but it's been a while since your latest dance event or course?
You are quite certain, but would like some fresh input or new steps?
You are still looking for a dance partner for the evening?
We have some more information for you below!

Free refresher course

Our own crashcourses take place on the weekend before the ball; 18th and 19th November in the Gymnastikhalle of the Hochschulsport (cf. for map)
Both days are independent from each other. The courses are free to attend and you do not need to apply beforehand.

Saturday's course starts at 11.30 am and ends at 1pm. Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to practice for an hour.
Sunday's course takes place from 2pm to 3.30pm; you will have some practicetime afterwards as well.

During the course, our teachers Lukas and Katherina will be recounting the basic steps of all 10 ballroom and latin dances. If you have special requests, please let them know or send us a message and we will do our best to make it happen.

Lukas and Katherina are no unknown faces to those, who have been participating in unisport dance events. They teach on a regular basis and also participate as a couple in competitions.
They only recently finished third place in their rating class at the Nordhessian Autumn Competition Day in Kassel!
You are in best hands.

Every sunday, music and a place to dance is offered at the Gymnastikhalle in unisport centre. Ballroom, Latin and everything in between. The dance coaches will often be there too, to give advice, teach a step again or answer questions.
It is not needed to attend these with a partner. though recommended.

You might also want to use this opportunity to look in to higher level courses if you are interested in taking follow-up classes; or maybe you will find your dancepartner for the Winterball or the next class.
