First come, first serve. No reservations or wishes, only as long as stock (very very limited) lasts.
Please be fair and queue up on arrival.

How it works

Ticket sales include 3 stages:

1. Reserve – GESCHLOSSEN
From October 4 to October 22 you can only reserve your tickets. The purpose of that is to guarantee a uniform distribution and for all people to find out that the Winterball is happening and for them to ensure that they will be getting a ticket.
The reservations are on a first come, first served basis; however, one person can request only one ticket.Since the tickets are in great demand, we have restrict the the sale so that it stays fair for everybody. If you want to participate as a big group, you can of course coordinate it that way so that only one person comes to pick up the tickets.

2. Pick up – GESCHLOSSEN
From October 23 to November 10 you can pick up only your reserved card at one of our points of sale (more information below). Please refrain from trying to pick up the ticket for which you have no reservations. That would save a lot of time and nerves for our helpers.
If you or an authorized person are not able to pick up your tickets, please contact us by mail. We will find a solution for everything.

Mo 10 to 11 am
Wed 10 to 11 am
Fr 3.30 to 4.30 pm

Mathmatical Institute - Entrance Hall
Mo 10 to 11 am
Wed 1 to 2 pm
Fr 10 to 11 am

3. Free sale
From November 13 all the remaining cards would be freely sold, i.e. there will be no restrictions for the number of cards per person. Here you just have to be fast. If all the remaining cards are sold on the first day, there are would be no other chances.

Open sale starts Nov 13, 10 am at Fachgruppenraum Informatik

If for some reason there will be some unsold cards a day before the Winterball (November 24), we will inform you through this website and Telegram Broadcast Channels.

What to do now

For your reservation we need:

• Email address
• Name (like on your student card)

After you filled in the formular, you would get either the confirmation of your reservation or your number on a waiting list, in case that there are not enough tickets available.

From October 23 (first week of the teaching period) you can pick up the tickets at the Institute of Computer Science or at the Mathematical Institute.
For that you need:

• Reservation confirmation to compare with our data (just a screenshot would suffice)
• If you pick up a card for someone else, a signed power of attorney that is given only for the person picking up the card
• Cash (if possible without change)

and Data Protection?

Mit dem Reservieren eines Tickets willigt ihr in die Verarbeitung eurer Daten und personenbezogenen Daten gem. Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO ein. Diese Zustimmung kann jederzeit formlos beim Fachschaftsrat unter fsr@math-cs.uni-goettingen.de widerrufen werden.

Wir (die Winterball-Orga für den FSR) erheben eure Daten zur korrekten Abwicklung des Ticketverkaufs für den Winterball. Das betrifft die oben genannten personenbezogenen und Kontaktdaten.
Nach dem Winterball werden wir eure personenbezogenen Daten korrekt vernichten/löschen sofern wir nicht gesetzlich zur Aufbewahrung verpflichtet sind.
Selbstverständlich werden eure Daten nicht an Dritte verkauft und nur unterwiesene Helfer:innen und Orga-Menschen haben Einblick in Eure Daten.

Trotz allem habt ihr natürlich immer noch die Rechte auf:
– Auskunft über die Art und Herkunft der Daten
– Korrektur falscher Daten
– Widerspruch gegen die weitere Datenverarbeitung
– Löschung eurer Daten
– Beschwerde beim Datenschutzbeauftragten oder der Aufsichtsbehörde

Als Organ der studentischen Selbstverwaltung nutzen wir die Services der GWDG und andere Verarbeitungswerkzeuge in Einklang mit der DSGVO. Daher stehen wir in engem Austausch mit dem Datenschutzbeauftragten der Studierendenschaft:
