A warm welcome from the Göttingen mathematics and computer science students!
As an orientation week for the new bachelor’s students called „O-Phase“ is organized by us every year, we plan to make this an event for the new master students as well. In the week of the 14th Oktober, we plan to do quizzes, bar tours and many fun activities to get to know each other, ending with a barbeque on Thursday afternoon, to which all the master students are invited.

The master students, that already know our university, may also join the O-Phase, as helping hands are very welcome.

Purple: Master students only. The other events will be together with the bachelor students.
Red: Consumption of alcoholic beverages is permitted.
Green: Mathematic master students and Data Science/ Computer Science students will split up.

This plan is not time accurate and time frames could slightly change.

All new master students (also students that have done their bachelor in Göttingen) as well as the older master students are invited to participate in a barbeque/lunch in the garden behind the mathematical institute. Every student should bring some food to make a buffet. If possible students bring typical food from their home region.
If the weather is bad, a lunch indoors is planned with the same concept.
